SCARECROW FESTIVAL COMING TO CHAPPELL HILL OCT. 14, 15

  

Chappell Hill is getting ready to celebrate the 46th Annual Scarecrow Festival.

Thousands will make their way out next Saturday and Sunday, October 14th and 15th, to enjoy shopping, country-style food, live entertainment and tours of the community.  The festival will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 14th and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 15th.

Over 250 juried exhibitors will be selling home décor, gardening items, jewelry, clothing, and arts and crafts. 

The live music lineup features Jimmy Green, Dylan Rhys and Chicken Live at a Bar on October 14th.  The slate of entertainers on October 15th will be Jimmy Green, Justin Cole and the Dover Brothers.

The festival is hosted by the Chappell Hill Historical Society, a nonprofit that works to preserve the community’s past and its historical buildings.

Admission to the festival is free.  Parking is $10 and is located on FM 1155, north of its intersection of Highway 290.  No street parking is allowed.
