SCARECROW FESTIVAL COMING TO CHAPPELL HILL OCT. 14, 15

  

Chappell Hill is getting ready to celebrate the 46^th Annual Scarecrow Festival.

Thousands will make their way out next Saturday and Sunday, October 14^th and 15^th, to enjoy shopping, country-style food, live entertainment and tours of the community.  The festival will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 14^th and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 15^th.

Over 250 juried exhibitors will be selling home décor, gardening items, jewelry, clothing, and arts and crafts. 

The live music lineup features Jimmy Green, Dylan Rhys and Chicken Live at a Bar on October 14^th.  The slate of entertainers on October 15^th will be Jimmy Green, Justin Cole and the Dover Brothers.

The festival is hosted by the Chappell Hill Historical Society, a nonprofit that works to preserve the community’s past and its historical buildings.

Admission to the festival is free.  Parking is $10 and is located on FM 1155, north of its intersection of Highway 290.  No street parking is allowed.
