SUSPECT IN NAVASOTA RESTAURANT BURGLARIES TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN HOUSTON
Navasota police say a suspect has been identified and arrested in an investigation into several business burglaries.
Navasota police took three reports on September 27th from local restaurants that were burglarized in the overnight hours. The businesses were located in the 100 block of North Lasalle Street, the 9400 block of Highway 6 and the 8700 block of Highway 6.
The following day, investigators were able to identify one of the suspects with assistance from other law enforcement agencies.
Police say the suspect, identified as 36-year-old Charles Buckley Jr. of Houston, had several outstanding burglary warrants from Washington, Brazos, Walker and Galveston counties.
On October 5th, investigators learned that Buckley was taken into custody in Houston for the outstanding warrants and booked at the Harris County Jail.
