ROUND TOP LIONS CLUB TO HOST 7TH ANNUAL TURKEY TROT
Registration is open for the Round Top Lions Club’s 7th Annual Turkey Trot.
Each year, the Thanksgiving Day run allows participants to race through the Round Top countryside in a 10K, 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run while supporting the Lions Club.
The Turkey Trot begins Thanksgiving morning, November 23rd, at 8 a.m. with the 10K, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
Awards will go to the top two male and female runners in the 5K and 10K, as well as to the top male and female participants in age groups, from 15 and under all the way to 70 and up. All Fun Run participants will also receive awards.
Entrants can pick up their race packets at Henkel Square Market on Wednesday, November 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. They can also be picked up on race day between 7 and 8:15 a.m.
