TxDOT TO PERFORM HIGHWAY 290 BRIDGE REPAIRS AT FM 577 STARTING JAN. 16
Work is scheduled to begin later this month at Highway 290 and FM 577 in Brenham.
The City of Brenham says starting on Tuesday, January 16th, the inside lanes on Highway 290 will be closed where the highway goes over FM 577.
Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction while a TxDOT contractor performs necessary bridge repairs. The public is asked to be patient and watch for traffic control messages.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
TxDOT says an official release on the project will go out next week.
