BRENHAM CUBETTES FALL TO MAGNOLIA WEST 57-46

The Brenham Cubettes dropped their second district game in a row as they fell to Magnolia West last (Tuesday) night 57-46.

The Lady Mustangs jumped out to an early lead, and while the Cubettes tried to battle back, they were unable to overcome the early deficit.

Antyiahna Lang led Brenham with 11 points.  Jayde Powell had 10 points.  Halle Scheel and Yazmine Gaines chipped in with seven points each. 

The loss drops the Cubettes to 15-13 overall and 3-3 in district. Next up, Brenham will wrap up the first half of district by traveling to College Station on Friday night for a 6:30pm game.
