NINE PEOPLE PLED GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Nine people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell in District Court this week.

Anthony Wayne Contee, Sr., 41 of Brenham, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation.  He was also ordered to pay a $900 fine.

Nicolas Eugene Randle, 32 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for 2 counts of Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Aurelio Reyes-Hernandez, 27 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Smuggling of Persons.  He was also sentenced to 6 months in state jail for Money Laundering between $2,500 and $30,000.

Jacob Travis Lam, 24 of Odessa, was sentenced to 7 months in state jail for Fraudulent Possession or Use of a Credit or Debit Card.

Kevontae Campbell-Sims, 24 of Houston, had his probation adjudicated and sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon in a Prohibited Place and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

Gabriel Rojas-Ruiz, 46 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Theft of Property between $30,000 and $150,000.  He was also ordered to pay $55,540 in restitution and have no contact with the victim. 

Preston Allen Keller, 42 of Spring, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for two counts of Theft of Property less than $2500.  He was also ordered to pay $400 in restitution and perform 100 hours of community service.

Khaundrica Williams, 32 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Theft of Property less than $2500.  She was also ordered to pay $2100 in restitution.

Bryan Jason Deziel, 48 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Theft of Property less than $2500.  E was also ordered to pay $1468 in restitution and perform 100 hours of community service.
