BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING WEEKEND VEHICLE THEFT, BURGLARY CASES

  

Brenham police are investigating reports of a vehicle that was stolen and another vehicle that was broken into over the weekend.

Around 8:15 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a business in the 2300 block of South Market Street.  It was found that an unknown suspect or suspects stole a 2016 Ford F-150 pickup from the business sometime overnight.  However, the vehicle was later located and recovered.

At 2 a.m. Saturday, police discovered that a vehicle in the 900 block of North Park Street was burglarized.  Items from the vehicle were located and returned to the owner.  Information was gathered for a report.

Both cases are under further investigation.
