CAKE SMASHING CHALLENGE HIGHLIGHTS CASA FOR KIDS BIRTHDAY

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Kids of South Central Texas is calling all party animals to join them for their community birthday celebration this Saturday.

CASA for Kids is celebrating 17 years of Child Advocacy in Austin, Colorado, Waller, and Washington Counties.

The party is this Saturday from 10am-12 noon at Jackson Street Park in Brenham. Everyone planning to attend is asked to use the Mansfield Street entrance.

The highlight of the party will be the Fourth Annual Cake Smashing Challenge.

Four people have volunteered to be smashed in the face with a cake if the organization reaches their fundraising goals.

For $5,000, current Washington County District Attorney Julie Renken will be smashed with cake.

For $10,000, District Attorney Elect Derek Estep is going to be next.

If they reach $15,000, Waller County Judge Trey Duhon will get the cake smashing treatment.

If they reach their ultimate goal of $25,000, CEO of Texas CASA Vicki Spriggs will take a cake to the face.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the Cake Smashing Challenge Fundraiser can still do so by going to their website at www.wespeak4kids.org.

Also at the party, they will be serving free pizza, cake, shave ice, and drinks.

Other activities planned for the party include: a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, games, prizes, and a photo booth.
