ZYTHOLOGICAL SOCIETY HOSTING ‘BIERVERKOSTUNG’ BEER TASTING AT MAIFEST

  

The Texas Chapter of the Zythological Society of North America is getting ready for the 2024 Bierverkostung at Brenham Maifest.

Bierverkostung is a craft beer tasting event entering its eighth year.  It will be held on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. under cover at Fireman’s Park.

Among the featured breweries will be St. Arnolds Brewing from Houston, Brazos Valley Brewery from Brenham, Ayinger Brewery from Germany, Equal Parts Brewing from Houston, Real Ale Brewing Co. from Blanco, Brash Brewing from Houston and Galveston Island Brewing from Galveston.

Each ticket is $20 per person and will include 20 tastings.  Tickets can be purchased at the event or online at www.zythological.com. 

Proceeds will go toward local organizations and charities. 

The beer tasting will be one of many activities happening during Maifest, along with live German music, a carnival, food vendors, a parade and the crowning of Junior and Senior Maifest royalty.
