WASHINGTON CO. EXPO TO HOST DAIRY DAY SATURDAY

  

The Washington County Expo will host the annual “Dairy Day” this Saturday.

Each year, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension invites 4-H and FFA members from around the region to learn more about dairy cattle.

The show will be held in Barn #3 at the Expo, with check-in starting at 8 a.m. and the program getting underway at 9 a.m.

Judging awards will go out for Old Timer Jackpot Showmanship, PeeWee Showmanship, Junior and Senior Champions, Grand Champions and a Supreme Champion.

Entries must be received by Thursday.  Anyone who enters after Thursday’s deadline will be assessed a late fee.

Entry forms can be turned in online at https://washington.agrilife.org/dairyday. 

KWHI will broadcast live from Dairy Day starting at 10 a.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
