WASHINGTON CO. FARM BUREAU DONATES TO FOOD PANTRIES

  

The Washington County Farm Bureau recently participated in its annual food connection event.

This year, the event involved three separate donations inspired by food.  The Farm Bureau board presented checks for $200 to the Burton Bridge Ministry, Washington County Healthy Living Association and Brenham Bread Partners.

The nationwide event, which the Washington County Farm Bureau has taken part in for decades, represents the recognition of farmers connecting with consumers and the need for sustainable food.
