BRENHAM CUBETTE SELECTED TO YOUTH ATHLETE OF THE YEAR VOTING
Brenham Cubettes Soccer standout Alyce Sheets has been named a finalist for the prestigious Youth Athlete of the Year Award, presented by Sports Illustrated, The V Foundation, 3Brand, and the Why Not You Foundation. The award recognizes an exceptional young athlete who embodies the best of sportsmanship, performance, and character. The winner will receive a $25,000 scholarship to support their future and be featured in a 3Brand advertisement in Sports Illustrated.

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?
The adrenaline rush playing soccer gives her, the teammates that become family and the love of the game!
Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?
God above all! He blessed her with the talent and the support even on her weakest moments and the greatest moments she knows God will guide her! There were times she wanted to quit but prayed to God and he helped her! Her family and three coaches, Coach Jungers, Coach Miller, and Coach Morgan they believed in her when she didn’t and always push her to be her very best! Always support her and been there for her!
What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?
She is so humble always willing to help the youth never treats others less than!
