BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS NAMED COMMENDED SCHOLARS
Three Brenham High School students have earned recognition as Commended Scholars in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Brenham ISD says Kaitlynne Allen, Drake Bentke and Levi DuPont are three of just over 16,000 students nationwide who received the honor, out of over 1.3 million students who entered the program.
Commended students placed among the top scorers on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation was established in 1955 as a not-for-profit organization that provides scholarships with the goal of honoring the nation’s scholastic champions and encouraging the pursuit of academic excellence.
