SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS INCLUDING WARRANTS FOR INJURY, ONLINE SOLICITATION OF MINOR

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested six people between Thursday and Monday.

Anthony Quinn Primes II

Approaching 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Deputy Jacob Faske conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Highway 105 for speeding.  The driver, 37-year-old Anthony Quinn Primes II of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant and was taken into custody.  Primes was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with Intent to Cause Bodily Injury.

Around 6 p.m. Saturday, Corporal Rosa Salinas conducted a traffic stop for a seat belt violation in the 3200 block of Highway 105.  The driver was found to have an active warrant and was taken into custody.  35-year-old Jamichael Derrell Daniels of Cypress was transported to the Washington County Jail for his warrant, Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz., and No Driver’s License.

Close to 10:30 p.m., Corporal Salinas conducted a traffic stop in the 4700 block of Highway 290 East for a defective headlamp.  The sheriff’s office says the driver did not have a driver’s license and was found to have active warrants.  52-year-old George Leslie Preston Jr. of Brenham was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail for two counts of No Driver’s License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Tyree Keondra Jackson

Shortly after 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Corporal Salinas conducted an investigative stop at Highway 36 North and Lucky Lane regarding a subject wanted by Burleson County.  The driver, 24-year-old Tyree Keondra Jackson of Brenham, was detained and a vehicle search was conducted.  The sheriff’s office reported locating marijuana and a handgun during the search.  Jackson was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz., Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and a warrant for Online Solicitation of a Minor.

A few minutes past 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sergeant Adam Zavala initiated a traffic stop in the 5600 block of Highway 290 East for a projecting load.  According to the sheriff’s office, the driver was found to have an invalid license and could not provide proof of insurance.  52-year-old Edward Maitin of Baytown was taken into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.

At 3 p.m., Deputy Faske conducted a traffic stop at FM 2621 and FM 50 for no front license plate.  The sheriff’s office says the driver had an invalid license and could not provide proof of insurance.  57-year-old Jose Francisco Garcia of Bryan was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
