BRENHAM ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION TO HOST ‘A DINNER TO REMEMBER’ THURSDAY
The Brenham ISD Education Foundation will host its annual “A Dinner to Remember” tonight (Thursday), bringing the community together for an evening dedicated to investing in local students and educators.

event was a collaborative painting of downtown
Brenham from over 15 Brenham High School art
students, titled "Downtown Super-Sized Plein Air!"
It sold for $7,000 to principal buyer YellowTruck.
Doors to the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham open at 5:30 p.m. The event will feature a full rib-eye dinner, live and silent auctions, and student showcases. The student art auction will allow attendees the opportunity to connect with student artists and support their future by bidding on selected works.
“A Dinner to Remember” serves as the Education Foundation’s primary fundraiser and plays a vital role in enhancing learning experiences across the district through teacher, department and campus grants. Funds raised directly impact classrooms by providing resources, opportunities and programs that benefit students and staff.
Education Foundation Board President Kyle Merten said the foundation is incredibly excited for this year’s event. He said, “It’s always amazing to see how our community shows up for our kids, our teachers, and our schools. The support we receive through this event makes a real difference in our classrooms.”
The silent auction is currently open online and will close at 9 p.m. tonight, allowing community members to participate even if they are unable to attend in person.
