CROWDS FILL DOWNTOWN BRENHAM FOR UPTOWN SWIRL
Downtown Brenham enjoyed another successful Uptown Swirl on Saturday.
Shoppers strolled through dozens of shops and locations to try out a wide collection of wines and support local small businesses.
Brenham Main Street Manager Leigh Linden says just over 600 tickets were sold for the event, raising approximately $24,000 for Main Street.
Proceeds support the organization’s beautification and improvement projects in downtown Brenham.
Sponsors for the “Uptown Swirl” were Champagne Sponsor Haak Wines and Cabernet Sponsors Deep in the Heart Farms, Kelli Dozier State Farm Insurance and Hermann Furniture.
