BELLVILLE VFD CHILI & BEANS COOK-OFF SET FOR SATURDAY
Bellville Volunteer Fire Department Station #4 is getting ready for its 17th Annual Chili and Beans Cook-off.
The fundraiser will be held on Saturday at The Kenney Store, where teams will gather to compete in several cook-off categories and enjoy live music.
Judging gets underway with the Bloody Mary contest at 10 a.m., then margaritas at 11:30 a.m., chef’s choice at 1 p.m., beans at 2:30 p.m. and chili at 4 p.m.
The evening will feature music from the Original Remnants Band.
Proceeds from the cook-off will benefit the fire department and its services to Bellville and Austin County.
