BURTON HIGH SCHOOL REVEALS TOP 2026 GRADUATES
Burton High School has announced its top graduates in the Class of 2026.
Receiving valedictorian honors is Paige Dakota Fritsch, with a grade point average of 4.2681.
Paige is the daughter of Ryan and Angie Fritsch. She will be attending Texas A&M University and plans to study Agricultural Communications and Journalism with a minor in Agricultural Business.
Named salutatorian was Melanie Anne Wood, with a GPA of 4.1304.
Melanie is the daughter of Jordan and Amanda Wood. She will also attend Texas A&M University, where she intends to pursue a degree in Ag Leadership and Development.
Thirty-five students are graduating this year, including 13 honor graduates. Alongside Fritsch and Wood, those honor graduates are:
- Cadeyn Manley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Manley
- Aerynn Huntsman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Hodde and Mr. Lee Huntsman
- Kolbie Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Parker
- Michael Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Smith
- Amaya Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Williams
- Hunter Fleck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Renninger
- Taylor Groce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Groce
- Matthew Roemer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Roemer
- Devlin Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Douglas
- Austen Bostain, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ande Bostain
- Ethan Schubert, son of Mr. Chad Schubert Sr.
Burton High School’s graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 22nd at 8 p.m. at Panther Stadium.
