CALDWELL RECEIVES 38 APPLICATIONS FOR VACANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S POSITION
The City of Caldwell’s deadline for candidates to file their applications for the vacant City Administrator’s position has passed.
According to the City, 38 people have filed for the job formerly held by Camden White, who resigned back on March 17.
White has taken a job with the Electric Reliability Council of Texas as a lead operations analyst for their Black Start Program.
Interim City Administrator Michael Boese told the Burleson County Tribune that Caldwell Mayor John Rychlik and the City Council are working with a consulting group, Clear Career Professionals of Plano, to select finalists for the position.
The salary range listed for City Administrator is $185,000 to $225,000 per year.
In a listing on the Clear Career Professionals website, they describe the position as, “a high-impact opportunity to lead a full-service Texas community with 68 employees, a $21 million annual budget, and a broad operational portfolio that includes electric utilities, public safety, water/wastewater, streets, sanitation, parks, library services, municipal court, airport operations, and general administration.”
A date for selecting finalists and scheduling interviews has not yet been determined.
