BURTON VOLLEYBALL WINS HOME OPENER OVER FAYETTEVILLE 3-1
The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team defeated Fayetteville 3-1 in their home opener last (Tuesday) night at the Burton High School Gym.
Burton won the first set 25-20, Fayetteville won the second set 26-24, but then Burton took the next two sets 25-19 and 26-24.
Natalie Hodde led the offense with 13 kills, and she also added nine digs on defense. Kinsey Lunbeck had 11 kills and eight blocks. Madalyn Henry finished with ten kills and 18 digs.
Adison Harmel dished out 41 assists and had 11 digs. The Lady Panthers also got 10 digs from Laci Broesche and nine digs from Sydney Fischer.
The win improves Burton to 9-2 on the season.
The Lady Panthers will now get ready to take part in the Waller Tournament, which starts tomorrow (Thursday) and runs through Saturday.
