BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO LOOK AT HIRING ENGINEERING SERVICE, COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Burton’s City Council will meet on Monday to consider hiring an ordinance compliance officer and an engineering service.

After citizen presentations and the consent agenda, which includes several monthly reports, the council will look to hire an engineering service to complete and submit a permit application for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

They will also consider hiring the new compliance officer, and discuss progress on the review and organization of ordinances.  The council will then go into executive session to discuss personnel matters.

The council will look at monthly reports from the mayor, secretary, and municipal court.  They will also hear reports from the financial, police, and water and sewer departments.

The Burton City Council will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
