2-YEAR-OLD PRONOUNCED DEAD AFTER BRAZOS CO. DROWNING INCIDENT

  

Officials have confirmed the death of a 2-year-old child after drowning at a home in south Brazos County.

First responders were called to the home Thursday afternoon between 4 and 5 p.m. for a report of a child drowning.

Paramedics and Brazos County Sheriff’s deputies took the child to an area hospital.  Authorities confirmed this (Friday) morning the child was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No other information was released.
