FINAL OPEN HOUSE ON BRENHAM’S FUTURE THURSDAY AT BARNHILL CENTER
Brenham officials will host the fourth and final open house on the city’s future tomorrow (Thursday).
This will be the last input-centric meeting for Brenham citizens to offer their feedback for specific elements of the city’s future, as the city updates its Comprehensive Plan.
City officials say these long-range plans are most effective with citizen participation and community feedback. Development Services Director Stephanie Doland says the goal of this open house is to gather input on concepts and certain parts of the city’s future, like public utilities and infrastructure, land use and development, economic opportunity, and parks and recreation.
Citizens are encouraged to provide their input at the open house tomorrow evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Barnhill Center. Participants will be entered to win one of three Visa gift cards.
