WORK TO BEGIN MONDAY ON LOOP 83 IN CALDWELL

  

Starting Monday, a TxDOT contractor will begin work on Loop 83 in Caldwell.

The job, contracted to Cornerstone Paving and Construction of Brenham for $225,000, involves the milling and inlaying of the loop from Highway 36 to Highway 21.

TxDOT says the work on the loop will be from curb to curb throughout the entire length of the road, including the parking spaces on—and the businesses across from—the west side of the courthouse.

Drivers in the area should expect delays and obey all traffic control devices.  The work should take approximately five days to complete.
