Participating against eight schools, the Brenham cadets placed as the overall champion, finishing first in six out of eight events and second in the remaining two.

Brenham scored first in armed and unarmed exhibition, armed and unarmed color guard, unarmed inspection and armed regulation.  Brenham’s second-place results were in armed inspection and unarmed regulation.

The junior varsity color guard also placed second against the varsity teams from the competing schools in the armed division.

The program will be videoing events for the national qualifier this week, seeking to secure its ninth consecutive invite to nationals in Fredericksburg, Virginia as one of nine teams across the country to compete.

The team has already been invited back to compete at all-service nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida in May.
