37-year-old Salvador Saucedo remains at large after escaping from MidCoast Medical Center on January 23rd while in the custody of the Waller County Sheriff’s Office.

Saucedo, according to DPS, is a convicted sex offender from Bryan who has been wanted out of Gonzales County since this past March for indecency with a child by sexual contact.  College Station police issued a warrant for his arrest in May for a charge of harassment.

Following his arrest and subsequent escape in Bellville, warrants were issued out of Waller County for escape while arrested, assault on a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify as a fugitive and resisting arrest.

A warrant was also issued out of Brazos County for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.  Saucedo was convicted in August 2022 for indecency with a child by sexual contact after an incident involving an 11-year-old girl.  He was sentenced to 10 years’ probation.

Saucedo is a Hispanic male who is 5’11” and 190 pounds.  He has tattoos on his face, neck, chest, arms and legs.  DPS says he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to Saucedo’s arrest.  Tips can be submitted through the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), through the DPS website or via Facebook.
