LOCAL OPTIMUM CUSTOMERS REPORT LENGTHY OUTAGE SUNDAY

  

Optimum customers in the Brenham and Navasota areas reported a several-hours-long outage for their TV and internet service on Sunday.

Customers received notice from Optimum around 3 p.m. saying the company was aware of an outage in the area that may be affecting their services, and that teams were working to restore them as soon as possible. 

At about midnight today (Monday), customers were notified again, this time with a message saying the issues affecting services had been resolved.

It is not known exactly how many customers lost service as a result of the outage. 

KWHI attempted to contact Optimum’s Bryan office for further information on the outage, but they could not be reached.
