‘MOVIES IN THE PARK’ POSTPONED TO JUNE 2

  

The City of Brenham’s first edition of “Movies in the Park” has been pushed back a week.

The showing of “Mufasa: The Lion King” was set for last (Monday) night at Fireman’s Park, but Brenham Parks and Recreation says the movie could not be shown following a “small electrical fire”. 

The event has been rescheduled for Monday, June 2^nd, still at Fireman’s Park.  Gather ‘n Grace will provide free meals beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the movie gets underway at 6 p.m.

Sponsors include Kelli Dozier State Farm, Strand Associates, KTEX/KWHI and the City of Brenham.

The “Movies in the Park” series will continue with “Finding Nemo” at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center on July 3^rd and concludes with “Moana 2” at Henderson Park on August 1^st.
