‘MOVIES IN THE PARK’ POSTPONED TO JUNE 2
The City of Brenham’s first edition of “Movies in the Park” has been pushed back a week.
The showing of “Mufasa: The Lion King” was set for last (Monday) night at Fireman’s Park, but Brenham Parks and Recreation says the movie could not be shown following a “small electrical fire”.
The event has been rescheduled for Monday, June 2nd, still at Fireman’s Park. Gather ‘n Grace will provide free meals beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the movie gets underway at 6 p.m.
Sponsors include Kelli Dozier State Farm, Strand Associates, KTEX/KWHI and the City of Brenham.
The “Movies in the Park” series will continue with “Finding Nemo” at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center on July 3rd and concludes with “Moana 2” at Henderson Park on August 1st.
Further details can be found on the Brenham Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
