BRENHAM GIFT CARD DRIVE COLLECTS OVER $10,000 FOR HILL COUNTRY FLOOD RELIEF
The Brenham community is uniting to support the victims of the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country.
The Brenham FFA chapter, along with Brenham SkillsUSA, joined this week to host a gift card drive to collect donations for families who have been impacted. Today (Wednesday), Brenham FFA announced that through three days, the two organizations have received $10,490 in gift card contributions.
Brenham FFA says it is “beyond thankful for every donation, share, and word of encouragement.” It adds, “Your support shows what it means to truly live out our mission of living to serve.”
Brenham FFA is one of several FFA chapters in the region who are conducting gift card drives, like Burton, Round Top-Carmine, Bellville, Sealy, La Grange, Navasota, Hempstead and Waller. Donations are being coordinated with Ingram agriculture teachers.
Brenham FFA says anyone who still wishes to help can still do so, as FFA advisors will be available next week to schedule a pick-up for gift card donations ahead of another collection drop later this month.
