The summer concert series will invite the Cap City Band to perform tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 p.m. at the corner of Alamo and Baylor Streets.  The Austin wedding band has a catalog of all-time favorite dance songs, including Motown, soul, ‘80s, ‘90s and the 2000s.

Food trucks and local businesses will be selling food and drinks.  The Stray Katz Car Club will have its classic car cruise-in along Alamo Street.

The concert, hosted by the City of Brenham and Main Street Brenham, is sponsored by Brannon Industrial Group, Deep in the Heart Farms, BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressing, and Upchurch & Yates LLP.

Leading up to the start of the Cap City Band’s performance, Benjamin “Lightning Ben” Laskoskie will play high-energy blues and rock during the “Summer Showcase” in Alamo Alley, hosted by the Visit Brenham Washington County Destination Marketing Organization.  Free Blue Bell ice cream floats will be available while supplies last.

The music is free for the public to enjoy.
