WASHINGTON CO. WILDLIFE SOCIETY HOSTING ANNUAL SUMMER MEETING & FUNDRAISER AUG. 15
The Washington County Wildlife Society is preparing for its annual summer meeting and dinner.
The fundraiser will take place on Friday, August 15th at the Washington County Expo. Doors open for a social at 5 p.m., and a catered barbecue dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m. The program begins at 6:15 p.m.
The featured speaker will be Steve Nelle, discussing stewardship ethics for landowners. Nelle worked for 35 years as a range conservationist and wildlife biologist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and he has spent nearly 50 years working with private landowners. Nelle will share insights and stories from his latest book, “Lessons from Leopold”.
Meal tickets are $20. Tickets for a drawing will also be available.
