WASHINGTON CO. FAIR NAMES LITTLE & JUNIOR MISTER & MISS
The Washington County Fair crowned new royalty Wednesday night, with the naming of the Little and Junior Mister and Miss.

Announced as the Little Mister and Miss were Wyatt Windham and Evelyn Brewster. Billy Goodsell and Avery Johnson are this year’s Junior Mister and Miss.
Today’s (Thursday) schedule of events starts with the commercial steer award breakfast at 8 a.m. The Champion Drive, which provides a fair experience for local students with special needs, begins at 9:30 a.m.
Today is also Senior’s Day at the fair, with discounted daytime entry for attendees 60 and older. A Senior’s Day Luncheon will be held at 11 a.m.

The scramble heifer show starts at 2 p.m., with the commercial halter heifer show at 3:30 p.m. and the scramble heifer banquet at 6 p.m. The colt show gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
Tonight will also have rodeo and mutton bustin’ events, country creations, commercial exhibits and the carnival.
Entertainment will feature Tyler Halverson at 8 p.m. and Ty Myers at 10 p.m.
KWHI and KTEX-106 will continue bringing live reports from the fair, including from 10 a.m. to noon on KWHI and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on KTEX-106.
