MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT

Thomas Radloff
(Grimes County Jail)

A man accused of Aggravated Sexual Assault will be spending the next 35 years in prison after pleading guilty in Grimes County District Court.

On Tuesday, 64-year-old Thomas Radloff waived indictment and pled guilty to the charge before 506th District Court Judge Gary Chaney.

The sentence was part of a plea agreement made with District Attorney Andria Bender.

The charge stems from an August 31 incident in which the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a sexual assault in progress.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered Radloff sexually assaulting a disabled adult female.

He was immediately arrested and taken to the Grimes County Jail in Anderson.

During an interview with D.A. Investigator John Wren, Radloff confessed to the crime and added that it had happened before with the same victim.

As the investigation progressed, the Grimes County D.A.’s Office learned of two other potential victims. Both of whom agreed to testify if the case had gone to trial.
