19TH ANNUAL KIDS GONE FISHIN’ SATURDAY AT BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER
A one-of-a-kind fishing experience is coming up on Saturday at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center in Brenham.
The 19th Annual Kids Gone Fishin’ will fill the Aquatic Center leisure pool with hundreds of pounds of catfish, giving young anglers the chance to learn about fishing and the outdoors.
The day begins at 8:30 a.m., with first cast at 9 a.m. Prizes will be presented to those with the largest catfish, the first catch and the most fish caught, as well as a BBAC Choice award.
There will also be a free swim indoors with inflatables, along with appearances by local first responders.
The event is free, but attendees are asked to register ahead of time at www.rectrac.cityofbrenham.org.
KTEX-106’s Cowboy Dave will be out at the Aquatic Center Saturday morning in the KTEX Country Cruiser.
