BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL GOLF FINISHES FIFTH ON DAY ONE OF REGIONAL TOURNAMENT
The Class 5A Region III Golf Tournament got underway yesterday (Monday) at The Golf Club at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Montgomery.
The teams top three teams go to State. Coming into Round Two, which is today (Tuesday), Austin Anderson is in first place with a team score of 313, College Station is in second place at 315, Barbers Hill is in third place at 317, Georgetown Eastview is in fourth with a 318, and the Brenham Cubs are fifth at 319.
For individual golfers, Luke Alford leads Brenham. He is in a tie for 8th place with a 76. Other Cub scores are Holton Gillentine with a 78, Caleb Klussmann with an 80, Levi Dupont with an 85, and Max Felder with an 87.
The tournament continues with Round Two today.
