“MEET THE CUBS” NIGHT HELPS GET THE FALL ATHLETIC SEASON STARTED

Family, friends, and fans braved the heat on Wednesday night to gather at Cub Stadium for the annual Fall edition of "Meet the Cubs Night."

"Meet the Cubs Night" recognized the student-athletes from Brenham High School and Brenham Junior High School that are taking part in the fall sports such as football, volleyball, cross country, tennis, and golf.

There were also performances from the Brenham Cub Marching Band, the Cheerleaders, and the Brenham Belles Dance Team.

In addition to that, the Brenham Booster Club was selling Cub Merchandise for the upcoming season.

The Brenham Cubs have a scrimmage against A&M Consolidated tonight (Thursday) at 7pm at Cub Stadium.

The first home game of the season is next Friday, August 28, against the Huntsville Hornets at 7pm, and that will also be at Cub Stadium.
