BRENHAM PLANNING AND ZONING CONSIDERING REVISION OF CODE OF ORDINANCES

Brenham’s Planning and Zoning Commission might soon be adding to its existing definition of “zoning.”

At Monday evening’s meeting, commissioners will hold a public hearing to discuss the potential addition of new definitions into its code of ordinances.

Definitions of “brewery”, “brewpub”, “distillery”, and “microdistillery or craft distillery” could soon be placed into the code, in order to make sure the Brazos Valley Brewery—along with any other potential breweries or distilleries in Brenham—are in compliance with code and are in their appropriate districts.

The Commission will also look at a request for approval for a final plat for the Andrade subdivision.  The subdivision would consist of almost nine acres and five lots, located at FM 332 and Brauner Lane, as part of the Phillip Coe and James Schrier Surveys.

The Commission will meet Monday evening at 5:15 p.m., in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall.
