CARROLLTON WOMAN TURNS HERSELF IN TO COUNTY JAIL

A Carrollton woman wanted on a warrant turned herself in to the Washington County Jail on Thursday around 6am.

Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer responded to the jail after Charlotte Menke Skaggs, who was wanted on an active warrant for theft under $30,000, said she wanted to turn herself in.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on October 16 in the 100 block of W. Commerce St.

At the time of the incident, the caller said someone had stolen items from their business valued at over $7,000.
