CVS PHARMACY IN BRENHAM CLOSING IN OCTOBER
The Brenham CVS Pharmacy will soon be closing.
CVS store manager Trey Yenger said the location on 2500 South Day Street in Brenham will be closing on October 2nd at 3 p.m. He stated the property lease was not renewed by H-E-B, owners of the property.
Brenham’s H-E-B store manager Jillian McAlister was able to confirm that the CVS pharmacy would be closing at the end of the month. However, she did not say what would be done with the store property.
A notice alerting customers of the closing is currently at the entrance of the pharmacy.
Certified Pharmacy Technician Demetria Isaac said the store’s employees will be transferred to other CVS’s in the district, such as Waller or Sealy.
She also said prescriptions left with the pharmacy will automatically be sent to the Walgreens across the street, but customers can take the prescriptions to other pharmacies.
