FAYETTE CO. FAIR FINALIZES ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP

  

Calling it a “true celebration of cultures, community, and tradition” the Fayette County Fair has finalized the entertainment lineup the fair, set for Labor Day weekend.

This year, the fair will be held from Thursday, August 28 through Sunday, August 31.

Among the featured entertainment are:

Thursday, August 28--Chris Rybak “The Accordion Cowboy” at 4:00 pm; the Texas Dutchmen at 7:00; and  Wayne Toups—known as the “Cajun Springsteen” at 9:00. 

On Friday, August 29, the Texas Dutchmen and The Triumphs at 7:00 pm; the Czechaholics at 8:00 pm; and DJ Willy  at 9:00.

Saturday, August 30 brings local favorite Robbie Wooten and his Band at 8:00 pm followed by the legendary Hall of Famer Merle Haggard at 10:00.

Sunday, August 31 wraps up with the Local Talent Show at 1:00 pm; the Texas Country Showdown at 4:00; Lanky the Clown at 6:00; local favorites the Anthony Moreno Band at 8:00 pm; and Texas/Red Dirt music star Kevin Fowler at 9:00.

Fayette County Fair tickets are available from any of the queen contestants with pre-sale season tickets $25.00, daily passes for Thursday $15.00,  for Friday, $15.00, Saturday $30.00, and Sunday, $20.00. 

Season tickets after 6 pm Wednesday, August 27th is $30.00.  Children 11
