GIDDINGS CHAMBER TO HONOR LOCAL CITIZENS, BUSINESSES AT BANQUET
The Giddings Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the upcoming Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Awards recipients.
Outstanding Citizen of the Year goes to Tim Pitts. Outstanding Civic Organization of the Year is the Braille Center #163. Jimmie Siegeler will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative has been named Outstanding Business of the Year. Roy E. Kruemcke III and Kyle B. Schatte will be honored as Outstanding Youth of the Year, and Pieratt’s Pharmacy is being recognized for Outstanding Customer Service of the Year.
The Chamber of Commerce will honor these recipients at August 7th’s Annual Community Awards Banquet, starting at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on 1502 South Highway 77. Tickets for the banquet are available until August 1st, for $30.
