LECHLER NEW HEAD FOOTBALL COACH AT SNOOK

Snook has a new head football coach who is a familiar name for Brenham Cubs football and baseball fans.

The Snook school board approved the hiring of Chad Lechler as the Bluejays new athletic director and head coach at their meeting Tuesday night.

Lechler has eight years of coaching experience including his Alma Mater Brenham and Hempstead.

Chad graduated from Brenham High School in 2003 and was an offensive lineman on the state finalist team in 2002 as well as the state tournament baseball team his senior year.

He has spent the last three seasons in Brenham coaching the offensive line as well as being the Junior Varsity Head Baseball Coach.
