ONE PERSON DEAD, TWO INJURED AFTER TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT NEAR ANDERSON
One person is dead and two people are injured after a head-on collision on Monday around 8:30pm north of Anderson.
The two vehicle accident occurred on Highway 90 north of FM 244 and according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
One person died after a pickup and a sedan hit head-on. One victim was taken to by helicopter to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Another went to the same hospital in an ambulance.
The identities of those involved have not been released by authorities.
Portions of Hwy 90 were closed following the wreck as first responders and investigators worked at the scene.
