POLICE IN WALLIS LOOKING FOR SUSPECTS IN EQUIPMENT THEFT

Wallis police are searching for suspects in a recent equipment theft.
Police said Saturday night, around 11:30 p.m., suspects entered property located in the 6800 block of Commerce Street, near the Legion Hall.

Police said the items taken were a 2018 Kubota Zero Turn Mower and 2018 Kubota Tractor. The suspects may have been driving a Chevy Avalanche pulling a trailer, along with a possible light-colored car following them.
Anyone with information is asked to call Austin County Crime Stoppers at 979-865-2949. Tippers can remain anonymous, and could receive $1,000 for information leading to a conviction.
