SUSAN ELZA NAMED UIL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
The University Interscholastic League has announced the hiring of Dr. Susan Elza as the UIL’s new Director of Athletics.
Elza becomes the first female athletics director in the 105-year history of the organization.
Elza, a Waco Midway high school graduate, has served as the (Justin) Northwest ISD Executive Director of Athletics. Before that, she was assistant AD in the Allen school district and has been a head softball coach in both Garland and Allen.
