THREE ARRESTED ON LOCAL TRAFFIC CHARGES

  

Three people face charges after separate arrests on traffic violations in Brenham, this weekend.

Sunday night around 9:30, Brenham Police responded to a traffic accident in the 1000 block of West Main Street.

According to authorities, one of the drivers, 40-year old Alvaro Hernandez Gramajo of Houston, was intoxicated and caused the accident.

Gramajo was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container and transported to the Washington Co. Jail.

Sunday morning just after 2:00, police conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of N Baylor Street.

According to police, 26-year old Stephanie Baker of Brenham was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated w/ Open Container.

Saturday, just after 3:00 a.m., Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of US Highway 290 West.

Investigation revealed, 43-year old Kevin Gaines of Burton was arrested for driving while license invalid w/ previous convictions, and was taken to the Washington County Jail.
