THREE ARRESTED ON POSSESSION CHARGES OVER WEEKEND

Three people face drug possession charges after their arrest by Brenham Police, Saturday.
21-year old Lamarcus Freeman of Killeen was pulled over at the intersection of Springwood Dr. and Cypress Circle, just after 3:30 p.m.
Freeman was found in possession of just over one pound of marijuana.
Freeman was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana/Between 5-ounces and 5-pounds.

Just before 9:00 p.m., 34-year old Demonteal Edmond of Chappell Hill was pulled over in the 300 block of Highway 290 East.
According to Police, Edmond was found with an invalid driver’s license, along with ecstasy and methamphetamine.
Edmond was taken into custody for Driving while license invalid and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Just before 11:30 p.m., police initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of East Academy and North Market Streets.
The driver, 57-year old Daniel Huff of Brenham was found in possession of Crack Cocaine.
Huff was taken into custody for Driving while license invalid and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
