TODD MISSION VFD HOLDING FUNDRAISER FOR STATION EXPANSION
The Todd Mission Volunteer Fire Department is raising funds to make improvements at its fire station.
The department is looking to raise $5,000 for building supplies to provide for more space at the station, as the department says it needs more indoor space. It is running out of space in its storage buildings used for gear storage, meetings, and office space.
The department is looking to build onto its existing structures to create specific areas for gear storage, a meeting room, and a bathroom.
Anyone looking to donate online can do so via the Todd Mission Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page. So far, the Facebook fundraiser has raised over $1,100.
Checks can also be sent by mail to the department at 21718 FM 1774, Todd Mission, TX, 77363. In addition, the department will be hosting a picnic fundraiser on August 10th.
