TWO ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

Brenham Police arrested two persons in separate cases on outstanding warrants over the weekend.
On Friday just before 7:00 PM, Officer Andrea Norton responded to the area of the 1200 block of Carlee Drive, in reference to a wanted subject. Upon arrival, the male suspect, Justin Hickman, 31, of Brenham was located and found to have two active warrants for Motion to Revoke Probation - Burglary of a Building and Non-Payment Child Support. Hickman was placed in custody and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

On Saturday, Officers with the Brenham Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle with someone asleep at the wheel in the 300 block of US Hwy 290W. Investigations lead to a wanted subject, Phylicia Hurtado, 31, of Brenham who was wanted out of Falls County for possession of marijuana under 2oz. Hurtado was placed in custody and transported to Washington County Jail and the driver of vehicle was cited for drug paraphernalia.
