MAN TAZED AFTER FLEEING POLICE

  

A Dickinson man had to be tazed by Brenham Police after a gas drive off.

Police had pulled over 18-year old Robert Charles Dale Willis Jr. on a speeding stop at 500 block of Highway 290 East on the South feeder road.

During the stop it was discovered that Willis was wanted for driving off from a nearby gas station without paying.

Willis then fled on foot into a nearby pasture, leading authorities on a lengthy chase.

Authorities, including Brenham Police and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies eventually caught up with Willis behind Lowe’s.

Willis reportedly tried to run again, but this time was tazed by police and taken into custody.

Willis is charged with Theft of Property—with two previous convictions; and Avoiding Arrest.
